Processing + Shipping

How are products made?

All my designs are imagined and created myself. I do not outsource any artwork, nor do I use clipart or stock designs for my products. I’ll admit that I do employee AI for some (about 5%) of my work (journal covers are an example), but I always use these images for ‘inspiration’ and rework the designs myself. After creating the designs, they are uploaded to a print-on-demand (POD) website where I apply them to various merchandise. At that point, they become available in my store (this Site) for purchase.

This POD company also operates as a “Drop Shipper”. This means, not only do they print the designs on the products, they also package and ship the items to my customers. This makes my business possible because I don’t have to invest (upfront) in inventory, and I can focus on creating designs, marketing, and maintaining this website. The flip-side is, production, quality control, and customer service is out of my hands – from the moment you place your order till it arrives at your door. I have to trust in the POD service. 

These POD services are large facilities with lots of employees. As such, some attention to detail can be overlooked. I ask your understanding in this regard. Nothing about the products offered on this Site should be interpreted as high-end/high-quality. My prices should reflect such. The value is in the novelty of the exclusive/unique designs. Funky, fun, and spirited….this is what should make its way to you.

If you’re the person who gets out a magnifying glass and ruler to inspect your order when it arrives, it’s probably best to order from my Site (or any POD site). That being said, there are legit fuck-ups that happen. You receive the wrong order, the wrong color or design, or the print is drastically off-center. If this happens…skip to the RETURN section below. 

As soon as your payment completes, your order is placed in production queue (depending on the product) this averages 3-7 days (depending on the process). After your products are printed, they are packaged and shipped. Shipping time (for US and Canada) from the nearest print facility averages 3-4 days. Please understand that your items are not sitting on a shelf waiting to be shipped out. They have to be created to order. Some products print in 1 day. Others, like leggings + rash guards need to be printed then sewn – this increases processing time. 

To be on the safe side, estimate 5-10 days for your order to arrive. This timeframe increases during the holiday season, or in the event of natural disasters, or national crisis that can affect shipping times &/or supply chains.

My POD fulfillment company has facilities in both Canada and the US. Your order will be processed and shipped from the facility nearest to its destination. These are the current locations.

This Site utilizes ‘Live Shipping Rates’ through our POD fulfillment service. Live rates are calculated in real-time and displayed during checkout. These rates are determined by the fulfillment location, shipping destination, shipping method, and carrier pricing.

At the moment I only sell to US and Canadian customers. If you’re placing your order from Canada it should print and ship from the Canadian facility, saving you custom fees, shipping time and cost. But, if an item is out of stock at the Toronto based facility, it will print and ship from the next nearest location, which is Charlotte, NC. This will incur duty-fees which are beyond my control. 

My Site is set up to not show items that aren’t available, but if the product is in stock somewhere at one of the company’s facilities, technically they don’t consider it out-of-stock. This is a rare occurrence, but it can happen, so just a heads up. 

 

Before getting in touch with me, please help me out by doing the following:

● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
● Ask your local post office if they have your package
● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

If the shipping address is correct, and the package wasn’t left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with me. Make sure to add your order number to your message. If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but
shipping will be at your own cost.

Orders, Returns + Refunds

RETURN POLICY

If you receive an item that’s “defective”, I’ll gladly replace the product within 15 days of purchase date. 

Defective products are as follows:

  • The design printed on your product is misprinted or incorrect
  • The size of the item you received does not match what you ordered
  • The color of the item is not what you ordered
  • There’s a visible defect with the product (torn, stained, broken, etc)

In the case of a defective item, a replacement will be shipped to you at no expense. 

COMPLETE THE ‘COMPLAINT FORM’ BELOW
You will be required to upload a photo showing the defect. 

You can keep the original item if you choose. There is no need to send it back.

What if the item I ordered doesn’t fit?

If the size of the item you received matches what you ordered – unfortunately I can’t accept returns or exchanges at this time.
Each product listing includes a sizing chart to help you select the proper size (based on measurements).
Please review the sizing charts before completing your order!
If the item you received does not match your order (ex: you ordered XL and received SM) please fill out the complaint form below. 

At this time I’m not offering refunds. If your order contains a damaged/defective item (see ‘return policy’) you can initate a complaint.
You can choose to have a new item sent to you (same design/size/color) or be issued a store credit.

Due to the nature of print-on-demand, at this time, I’m not offering exchanges. Please make sure sizes are correct before ordering. 

Terms Of Service

Acceptance – By using this website, you agree to these terms.

Returns – Returns are accepted within 15 days for defective items only.

Your privacy is not important to me. It’s none of my business. Just like your personal information is not my business. I collect what’s necessary to run my business (nothing more). My business is to create art/designs and have them printed on products (that hopefully) you’re interested in buying. That’s it. I’m not in the business of trafficking personal data. Nor am I interested in diving down the rabbit hole of analyzing data to help increase, convert, or manipulate sales. I assume (perhaps ignorantly) that if you like what I have to offer, you’ll buy it. This is an ol’ school, one-woman show. No time for ‘tactics’ or chasing down sales. 

When you use this Site (merrymememerch.com), basic information is automatically collected about your device (web browser type, IP address, and time zone. I don’t know how Cookies work exactly, but a unique identifier gets stored on your device to enable the Site to ‘remember’ you – products and pages you viewed are cached and help the Site load faster on your end.

When you make a purchase your name, billing/shipping address, limited payment information, and email are stored as part of your “Order Information”. Your credit/debit card numbers are NOT stored on this site. They are stored only by the payment processing provider you choose (Stripe, Paypal, ApplePay, etc). You can request that any data stored on this Site be deleted using the Contact Form. If you create an account on this Site, it only exists as a means to view purchasing history and speed up future checkout process. You edit or cancel your account at any time by visiting the My Account page. By creating an account or joining my mailing list, you consent to having (occassional) emails sent to you. You can unsubscribe at any time.  

Please note that I do not alter the Site’s data collection when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

When you place an order through the Site, I will maintain your Order Information for my records unless and until you ask me to delete it.
